Zimmerman released from jail
George Zimmerman - a Florida man charged with murder in the February shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin - was released from jail on Friday, a day after a judge set a new bail amount.
A Florida judge on Thursday set a $1 million bail with new restrictions on Zimmerman (pictured), saying he believes the suspect may have been planning to flee the country to avoid prosecution in the killing of Martin.
Zimmerman's previous bail - $150,000 - was revoked last month after the judge learned Zimmerman and his wife had failed to disclose more than $150,000 in donations from the public.
Leading up to the judge's decision Thursday, Zimmerman attorney Mark O'Mara asked the judge to set the same $150,000 bail amount that he granted in April. Prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda countered that Zimmerman should remain in jail without bail because he was complicit in lying to the court and can't be trusted.

@JennyMay far from it. I've followed this case since the huff first started coverage. I reserved passing judgement until the facts became more clear. The media skewed this story in such a way it should be considered criminal. I see this as a tragic incident but from the *facts* I've seen with my own eyes. Not heard from some storyteller trolling the CNN comment boards like your little friend that is "Tired of Cowards". This is not the racially motivated case you people seem to want it to be. It doesn't seem like vigilante justice at all. When you get behind someone that is spewing misinformation you just make yourself seem ignorant. Do your homework before posting rather than rely on the storytellers.
America is tired of racial sensitiveness. A black is a thug/is a drug user/is a thief on the making. It is what it is, people. Thousands of years of neglect is not going to turned them in civilized citizens overnight. Look at what is happening in Africa....worse than animals.

So I wouldn't be getting too excited about those changes. Blacks are going to decline as a percentage of the population, and neither the asians or hispanics whose numbers are going up are likely to be more tolerant of black thugs than whites have been so far.

Are you some sort of psychic psychologist? Zimmerman may well have some mental issues. Who doesn't? I'm pretty sure reading a few articles on this case doesn't qualify you to make a diagnosis though.
Zimmerman will be found innocent of charges as he should be under the Florida "Stand Your Ground" Law which states that you do not have to retreat from a confrontation and have the right to use deadly force. He will however be convicted of the stiffest penalty allowable for perjury to keep the black communities from rioting and destroying their own neighborhoods much like the LA Riots.
Garry- That is possible. However, playing devil's advocate, can you claim stand your ground when you are the initial aggressor? Zimmerman was tailing Martin. You have 911 calls, from Zimmerman himself, stating as much. Put yourself in Martin's shoes. He is walking alone, at night, spies someone following him. Tries to flee, dropping his phone. The pursuer gets out of his vehicle and starts to chase him. He doesn't see him stop because he is running from him. When when he thinks the coast is clear he returns to get his phone and finds his pursuer waiting for him. Seems that Martin's actions were done in defense of his own well being.
Is that what happened? Its a possibility. Could easily have been a misunderstanding by both parties. Each feeling that they were defending themselves. However, Zimmerman's following Martin and getting out of his vehicle to give chase could easily be seen as aggression. Sadly, the other party involved is not here to tell his side or what was going through his mind that night.
Just let the man go free already! I am sure he saved someone from getting robbed and/or killed in the future from that little Martin kid!! Martin was a future career criminal in the making, just like the majority of all Black Folk in America!!!!!!
