Mississippi clinic can continue performing abortions, judge rules
Doctors at Mississippi's sole abortion clinic are allowed to continue performing the procedure, even if they do not have admitting and staff privileges at an area hospital, as required by a new state law, a federal judge ruled Friday.
But state officials can begin an administrative process that could ultimately lead to the closing of the clinic, said U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan III.
The law took effect July 1 and requires all abortion providers in Mississippi to be certified obstetrician/gynecologists with privileges at local hospitals. Doctors at Jackson Women's Health Organization, the only abortion provider in the state, come in from other states, and only one of its doctors is authorized to practice at a nearby hospital.
Supporters of the new law say it is intended to protect women from unscrupulous practitioners, but others say it's part of a move to outlaw abortions in the state.

When I was in second grade, we had a pagent where we all were different states. I was Hawaii. We had to say a few lines about the state we were. I forgot my lines. My teacher, Mrs. Walters, gave me my lines, so it was ok. She gave me a hug when I got off stage because I was crying because I forgot my lines. My mom and dad said I did good and they weren't mad at all, like Jason's mom was when he forgot his lines. (He was Missouri). I liked Mrs. Walters a lot. She left to have a baby, and never went back to teaching. Too bad. She was a good teacher.

I never had a chicken, but I had a pet pigeon once. I called it Pidgey. It was white, so I called it a dove, but my dad said it was a pidgeon. I would still rather think of it as a dove; I thought a dove WAS a pidgeon. Anyway, it was a pretty bird. Then my a hole neighbor killed it with a bb gun. I don't know why. He was a big bully! He used to bully all of us. He moved away, so I hope he's doing rotten wherever he is. But my bird was still dead!!!

My, my! Speaking of chickens, or hens rather. Tell me this, when youre eating an egg does it taste like an unborn chicken to you people? Thats because just like a fetus, it is not a baby til a certain time frame, so aborting a fetus is NOT baby killin.

And do you know who ruined it? YOU and banasy and the other dorks that came on here day after day having full conversations with each other.
