Clashes intensify in the Syrian captial, opposition activists say

For the third straight day, fierce clashes erupted in the Syrian capital Tuesday as fighters braced for a major showdown in the key city, opposition activists said.

"The battle for Damascus is coming," said Abdulhameed Zakaria, a Syrian army colonel who defected and joined the rebel Free Syrian Army.

Several areas of Damascus came under intense fighting early Tuesday, the opposition Local Coordination Committees of Syria said. Mortar shells rained on the Tadamon neighborhood as a powerful explosions rocked Tadamon and other areas, the LCC said.

But the violence wasn't limited to the Syrian regime's seat of power.

You are correct; we have, however, peplied to this situation repeatedly, and nothing we say is going to minimize the suffering of those poor people.
If one thinks our jokes are in poor taste, sorry.
We tend to find a thread with the least posts to cut loose in, and today, this happened to be it.
Mash-up didn't appear until much later, so we continued our fun on a thread we had started it on.
We mean no disrespect to anyone, but we HAVE said it over and over again...
Perhaps you haven't seen all of our posts, so you yourself may not know this.

The US military is killing as many if not more people as the Syrian rulers and rebels do each day.

They do it to live on their terms in. and on their lands, we do it because we can and we enjoy it, IT IS WHO WE ARE AND WHAT US DOES BETTER THAN REST OF WORLD COMBINED.

CNN DID NOT PUT THIS ARTICLE OUT HERE FORM COMPASSION, THEY ARE a part of the full spectrum warfare establishment.

They play by thr 'ules and are allowed to make a living, and that is exactly what the majority of this empire do as well.
Death is common and over tg
here is not any. more reality than your situational comedys on the boob.

That's a bold statement. Do you have a link to news of American's shooting at Syrian civilians or is that a presumption on your part?

I'd love to see that link. Unfortunately, I doubt there is such a thing.

Absolutely! Wouldn't you do the same
thing if it were your family members
      being slaughtered? The whole country
is sick of it. Freedom... think about it.
