North Korea leader Kim Jong Un married, South Korean officials say
North Korea's youthful leader, Kim Jong Un, has married a woman identified as Ri Sol-Ju, North Korean state TV reported Wednesday, according to South Korea's Unification Ministry.
Little is known about Kim, who became the third generation of his family to lead his reclusive country when he assumed power following the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, in December.
Kim Jong Il, known as "Dear Leader" had ruled for 17 years after inheriting power from the country's founding father, Kim Il Sung, the eternal president and "Great Leader." Kim Jong Un was granted the title of "supreme leader." His age is still a source of speculation, though it's thought he's in his late 20s.
Recently the leader had been seen alongside a "mystery woman" at a Pyongyang theater to watch a performance of North Korea's Moranbong band. The display included a cast of Disney characters.
That outing wasn't her only high-profile appearance at the North Korean leaders' side.
The same woman was seen on state TV a few days later walking a few paces behind Kim as he toured Kumsusan Palace in Pyongyang, then standing to attention at Kim's side as they and top military officials paid tribute to his grandfather Kim Il Sung, North Korea's founding father, on the anniversary of his death.

The lady is musicly inclined, has three recordings, Lost in tpranslation but top song about " a woman on a horse", ( not up to speed on language translation and fori those who understan asian music is as much felt as heard).
Long time off and on affair.
She is not a mystery woman in N Korea any more than any woman in world is, "Without the feminen mystique, where be the romance"

What's the point of being a dictator if you are going to ruin all the fun you could have at your people's expense by getting married. Just goes to show, you don't need to be smart to be a head of state. Best wishes!

Age of new leader, hard to peg and even our immigration services and staye dept have hard time figuring mot just N. Korea but many Asian nations peoples ages
In traditional korea age at birth begins at 1 not zero, but even here there can be variance, females figured on full moon and males by new moon.
The importance of actual birthdate is high but most important to note that common or high born celebrate and do not announce birth until the 100th day of life.
This tradition stems mainly from insecurity of life due to high rates of death among newborns, not just today but always in Koreas past.
Koreans age is figured by lunar
year event, so. child born just
before lunar year may be 1 yr within days they could be 2 yrs.
N. Korea uses our international method in laws such as legal booze and marriage ages but aldo its old calander.
As to age of new leader, while I am mere novice I place his age as older, our calander,at 30-32.

Old leaders age and records are more easily verified as only latter part of his life was kept secret, including marriages.
I believe state does know down to exact date fue to defections and mass record keping of inffo on North from even before Korean conflict.
Wihen you want to scare the heck out of people you can' t have a boogyman that has birthday partys, or one that marrys a comely and talanted woman.
In the case of N. Korea we want a
dragon Warlord and a Dragon Lady.
N. Korea is realy not that secretive when it comes to event happenings. from births of leaders children to removal of military and civilian officers, the inner reasons why, now that is a different matter.
