Islamists: Two stoned to death for committing adultery in Mali

Islamists in control of northern Mali said they forced a man and a woman into two holes and stoned them to death for committing adultery in the lawless region.

Witnesses watched quietly as Islamists executed the two by pelting them with rocks in the remote Aguelhok town, according to a local resident.

"I don't know how many rocks they threw or for how long it went on before they were both dead," said Haman Maiga, a resident of Aguelhok who witnessed the stoning. "No one dared to try and stop the Islamists."

The woman had two small children, a boy and a girl, according to Maiga.

    Committing adultery may be wrong but they cant judge them and stoned them to death ~ Its more wrong than committing adultery ~ They do not have power to judge anyone to live or death because they are not the God or the government ~ Feel so pity for Mali's citizen ~ Perhaps a Kechara Protection Chakras may protect them from the "Islamist" ~

      Here is some insight for you all, if these LAWS and punishment were upheld in America there would be approximately 8 women left with 10 men that have not been stoned!!! How funny.

    Good points from Bobcat there. Here's one more. Anywhere you have a monotheism, there's a large segment of it that will indulge itself in hypocrisy and intolerance. If not for the fact that we are a nation guided by secular laws, we would have way too many folks running round burning crosses and stoning people to death. So don't go looking elsewhere for radical extremists. They're right here with us. Some of them are called evangelicals. Thank Goodness for the English, Scots and other Europeans who fought their seemingly endless religious wars. Their descendants knew their history and were able to give us a Nation conceived in Liberty, not monotheism! I doubt there are any Hamiltonians nor Jeffersonians in Mali.

      Ruhina – You ask what is an "Islamist". Answer: An Islamist is a bloodthirsty, demented, religious fanatic who delights in stoning people to death, beheading non-muslims, degrading women, and has a deluded desire to impose their sick, twisted religion on the rest of the world.

    What is really creepy is that the so called moderate Muslims (they ones that may be in your neighbourhood) usually will not condemn these types of actions. Try talking to one about it....you might get something like, ya right! how bout those Blue Jays!
    For me that is the scarey part.
