19 killed in Nigeria church attack

Gunmen attacked a church in the central Nigerian state of Kogi, killing at least 19 people, a military official said Tuesday.

Among the dead was the pastor of the Deeper Life church in Okene, Lt. Col. Gabriel Olorunyomi said.

No one has claimed responsibility, but immediate suspicion fell on the militant Islamic group Boko Haram, which has carried out similar church attacks in the past.

An eyewitness told CNN that the attackers were carrying sophisticated firearms and shot randomly at the members of the congregation gathered for Bible study Monday night. Blood flowed through the church as bodies fell limp, the witness said.

After hitting the M.East with a failed foreign policy and letting Russia, China, Turkey and Iran benefit lets see what we do there.

    You are right@Hide Behind
Its more to do with a fight over water and grazing grounds and the usurped rights of minorities than pure religion.
Needless to say that politicians and outside forces are exploiting the situation as elsewhere.

Allison does make a point. There were over 250,000 christians living in Traq before the christians invaded.
@saywhat. While water is our most vital resource, it is oil on the axle of life that allows it to turn.
The US has been embedded in the middle east for decades. It was Americans drilling for water in Saudi Arabia that discovered vast saudi reserves.
It was American oilmen whom developed Kuwaits oilfields. AMERICAN (not nazi, not russian, etc) technology developed the entire middle east's oilfields. Even Iran's.
TRILLIONS of man hours and TEN's of trillions of dollars invested, and still people who bend over to pick-up a nickle off the sidewalk say "walk away", "bring troops home" in total ignorance of the situation.
The US gov didn't build the largest foreign embassy in history (in Iraq) to just "walk away". The US military still hasn't left occupied Germany or Ja pan yet! (cont)

Here is the true "exit strategy" for the middle east:
After various nations peoples are ripped-off by various corporations building-up the middle easts infrastructure (stolen ENRON funds went to build electric powerplants in India, for example) and by the various federal reserves and stock market exchanges, everyone in the middle east will have electricity and stop fighting over mundane things.
This will leave just one remaining obstacle to peace in the middle east: Israel
@saywhat. Can you possibly imagine the US military turning on Israel? (as the roman empire did)

Once the ME's various infrastructures are in place, it will be corporations protecting their market share with armed security personnel RATHER than taxpayers funding US troops. As US military (incl CIA) are called home, paid militia take their place. And of course corporations will battle each other with their new divisions. But they won't be wars fought over beliefs or grazing rights. They will be fought over profit share, and will not dare damage infrastructures. Corporate subterfuge will be as rampant as ever, but now heavily armed.. Corps. will think thrice before ripping ea. other off.
The very same thing is happening in occupied Africa. Every affluent nation raypes Africa of her vast mineral resources, for centuries upon centuries. From diamonds to slaves, it it's in Africa, it's been rayped by foreigners.
All of this will be for the better. No longer will one nation war against another. Only one thing will stand in the way of world peace: organized religions. (@saywhat. Can you see them ending?)

And here's the kicker. (also where I lose most of you)
After everyone has electricity and there are no more financially debilitating wars being fought...AFTER organized religions who have been fomenting war and fanning the flames of racism...calling themselves together RATHER than calling the police...AFTER these puke religions are abolished and we have PEACE, all of the world's peoples will come to know the true God from the comfort of their own homes w/o some blabbermouth yelling in a microphone or asking you for money. By faith, not by sight...and these are the wolves in sheeps clothes, NOT shepherds. What's the bounty on wolves these days? he he 🙂
But!!! That's NOT why governments want everyone to have electricity. (cont)

Without electricity, people won't be able to watch government made flying saucers posing as aliens shooting free energy weapons at automobile gas tanks that wouldn't explode without small amounts of ethanol being previously added.
People the world over who live in fear of man rather than fear the lord will be convinced that patriotism isn't all it's cracked-up to be, and willingly join to form a one world military united to fight the invading aliens.
And you think that I make this all up! Amazing!

*w/o electricity, people wouldn't be able to watch it on TV, rather. Though a comedic radio broadcast of "War of the Worlds" had millions of Americans convinced aliens had actually invaded. And that was just audio. Americans need pictures to get the full sense of things now.

AND! After religions are abolished, NOBODY has to EVER be afraid of burning in hell forever, without a doubt the most rediculous doctrine men have ever come up with. Cornier than evolution. Stupider than 72 virgins. God is NOT an extortionist. sheesh!
