Iran, Syria huddle as fighting rages

Syria's president welcomed a top official Tuesday from Iran, a friend and ally of the much reviled and increasingly isolated government in Damascus.

Saeed Jalili, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, met with President Bashar al-Assad to discuss resolving the 17-month-long civil war and rescuing several Iranians who were kidnapped over the weekend.

State TV showed footage of Jalili and al-Assad in the first video of the president that has surfaced since last month.

Jalili called on Syrians to sit down and forge a solution to the crisis, which morphed into a nationwide uprising and civil war after government forces cracked down on peaceful protesters in March 2011.

If you approve of waterboarding terror suspects, if you approved of the asassinations of foreigners suspected of committing international crimes, you have already given your government permission to do the same here. (you just don't realize it yet)
I Believe that a solid majority of US adult citizens have no qualms about turning the CIA loose on domestics whom terrorize US. And that soon, most everyone will agree it's the only way to go. We already tried everything else to clean US up.

Surely by now you folks have figured out that the 160 extra prisons built by DHS since 9/11 weren't built for foreign terrorists. Right?
Don't feel too stupid. It took several years for German citizens to realize the camps were built for them first, jews third.
Hitler gave written orders to the Waffen SS regarding exactly who and in what order Fatherland security Prisons were to be filled. "Worshy individuals" topped that list, with "Jews" being 3rd on that list.
DHS Homeland Security prisons are for US, not them foreigners.

Currently, about one out of every 100 American adults reside in prison or in jail. 2,500,000 inmates. And you said that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Sheesh.

    • Well...

Which is it? Prison or jail? A short term sentence is a LOT DIFFERENT than a lengthy prison term! Where is your data? Don'tcha just LOVE the internet, where someone can just throw out bs without having to have actuat FACTOIDS to back it up with? 4 out of 5 people hate people who use the name factoid. Yeah, I just pulled that out of thin air. So?

Assad went off on a murderous course that did not suppress the uprising, now that the revolution has spread across the geography of Syria and involves a larger demographic of the population. It is clear their strategy is genocide. And Iran, Russia and China are will to back Assad and the genocide. Assad set them on course of no return that would end in genocide. The PM is signing off on fiscal matters, that funds the military and the military is committing genocide. Like Speer the PM is responsible no money not genocide.

One would assume that the Iranian envoys are speaking on orders of the Ayatollah, in which Iran re: the Ayatollah backs genocide conducted by the regime, as do other officials in Iran. That was the difference the Russians used blocking movements but did not implicate themselves.

What does that mean, well the next Syrian regime can issue arrest warrants outside the ICC, in regards to genocide committed inside Syria. Iran is directly implicated by its own admission. It means the FBI can arrest those implicated when they enter certain jurisdictions and they have offices all over the world.
