Monday's live events

The two major parties will come together in the next few weeks to make their presidential tickets official.  CNN.com Live is your home for all the action from the Republican and Democratic National Conventions.

Today's programming highlights...

8:45 am ET - Romney in Florida - GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney spends his day in Florida, where he'll campaign with Sen. Marco Rubio in St. Augustine.  He'll later speak in Miami at 5:15 pm ET.

12:25 pm ET - Obama talks economy - President Obama will spend much of his day campaigning in Iowa, starting with an event in Council Bluffs.  He'll later travel to Boone for a 6:15 pm ET event.

12:45 pm ET - Biden on campaign trail - Vice President Joe Biden is also getting in the campaign spirit today.  He speaks to supporters in Durham, North Carolina.

2:00 pm ET - Ryan goes to the fair - Two days after being tapped as Mitt Romney's running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan stumps for votes at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.

    I recall something that bobcat said in his explanation of trolls:
    That when asked a direct question, trolls rarely answer, or deliberately misunderstand and misdirect the question.
    I understand that better than ever; and he is right: pathetic coward doesn't even begin to cover such a loathsome creature.
    Be happy in misery; that's all it deserves.

    Everyone is right when it is asked a question he avoides it but it always avoides the question 1st why is that phillip?
