What the heck is wrong with this mob? I'm in the middle of reading the article now. Thanks for the info.

Ending apartheid did little to increase S. African's opprotunities for better wages and living conditions with in the mining community where alcoholism, drug abuse and prost itution are a staple, is what I gathered from the article. Seems that even if the two major Mineworkers Unions had mediators, it would have defused the escalating dispute.

Correction: should read "It would have done little to defuse ..."

the mob isn't paying attention. They would rather talk about Africans for middle wages than bring to light the plight of joblessness here in Their own country...

  2. Chick-fil-A shooter

The Virginia man accused shooting a security guard at a conservative republican lobbying group's headquarters after saying "I don't like your policies" carried a backpack with extra ammunition and 15 Chif-fil-A sandwiches, authorities said Thursday.
The well financed lobbying group maintains that with enough lobby money, laws on abortion and sodomy might be restored someday soon.
The group's president blamed the terroror attack on "reckless rhetoric",. and then said that critics of traditional marriage gave the accused gunman "a license to shoot an unarmed man."

      Two thoughts on this one:
First, with regards to lobbying groups being able to restore certain laws with enough money in their pockets... how does that old saying go, Money talks...BS walks!
Secondly, Critics of Traditional marriage becoming violent is a plausible possibility when today we who hold said traditional marriage as sacred have faced people trying to stifle our freedom to speak. Therefore, who's to say that situation won't escalate into violence.
      Nite all

And if'n ya like 'em big o' butts, the CDC just confirmed: 8 of the 10 most overly obese states are down yonder in the South. (bring your own oil and flour)

Yeah, Not very good train of thought there for my post.
I was thinking in comparing the traditional marriage debate to the S. African miners rushing the police.
Both issues have seen blood shed.

Ha! Only an overly obese individual would feel compelled to defend this seemingly endless assault on nationwide obesity.
Obesity kills more than a lot of lifestyle choices and rare viruses do. If I were to report of the lovely couple with hantavirus camping at Yosemite with the husband dead and wife sick to death, you would NOT feel compelled to single me out.
    BUSTED.

excercise, watch your calorie intake, drink lots a water, and then have a beer. Works for me. Why does it have to be complicated? Because most people don't realize that you ACTUALLY have to try...welcome to the USA! Just take a pill right?
