    • The way it is

Terence Tyler was no dummy. He was a hard working strong black man striving to make a living. With a high school graduation rate less than forty percent, unemployment rate over fifty percent, and three out of four entangled in criminal jurisprudence, the odds were against him.

Sadly, his homeboy 0bama created this situation. Terence even voted for 0bama. "Hope and change", 0bama said. Now Terence is dead, with two other innocents as collateral damage. Well, that's a change at least. 0bama was partly right.

Why do these disgruntled people have to take out others?
Can't they just exit the world without taking others with them?

    More deaths in gun violence.
good morning@banasy. Almost an every day tragedy , one of many manifestations of the deteriorating social fabric, disenchantment, resentment and hopelessness.

@saywhat, I totally agree that 0bama has brought a cloud of gloom with his economic destruction and counter cultural assault on the culture that once made America great but now is disappearing. The American dream, gone with the winds...

Some people on this website say he's compassionate. Isn't that silly?

I agree that the corporate capitalist piggyboy Romney will get every gun off the face of the earth, because that's what he will do...right? Because random murders only started AFTER Obama got into office, right? Uh huh. Oh, yeah, that's not what saywhat said at, but ya gotta gets your digs in while twisting someone's words around.

I love how stupid people blame guns. Even if you could remove guns from criminal's hands, which you can't so youay as well stop all that gun control stupidity, a criminal will just find another more violent means of killing. Like maybe beating someone with a bat or cutting them to pieces with a chainsaw.

Well, Hamsta, blaming Obama is nearly as silly.
How about putting the blame where it belongs: with the freaking moron that pulled the trigger?

That's my whole point Banasy, gun control laws only make it harder for law abiding citizens to own a gun. It's not the gun's fault, or even the gun manufacturer's fault. Criminals always will find a way to get guns to kill other people with. The blame can only be put on the nutcase that decodes to kill someone else.

  10. Lone Gunman theory

Don't buy into the" Lone Gunman" conspiracy theories, Hamsta. Guns are rarely used compared to the dozens of other items criminals use to rob, raype, pilliage, con and plunder, and defraud US citizens.
For every person hurt by a gun there are a thousand hurt by a pen, for example. (fraudulent contracts)

Interesting that the BBC, Reuters and other non-American news services had more to say about this tragedy than CNN. Then again, considering the quality of the above comments, perhaps that's just as well.

@Happy H. And your comment is what. Top shelf? Quality? You said nothing, really.
Where do you stand? Is it guns? Is it just "crazy" individuals? Or is it a nation that has been spending more on drugs than on national defense for so long that we are now seeing the long long long term side effects of a nationwide drug epidemic?
Some say long term drug usage comes with long term side effects. What say you?

That's a pretty funny phrase "shooting himself dead" versus what, "shooting himself alive"? Don't blame guns. Blame dark, twisted people. If you like stories about both guns and dark, twisted villains posing as monks you might like this new story The Benedictine Candidate.
