To answer a statement you made on the previous live event thread, by law all U.S. Currency is soley the property of of the federal government, they can take it from you at any time. Drill a hole on a penny or light a dollar bill on fire and that's a crime. They can charge you with destruction of U.S. currency.

    Good morning all.
    @bobcat. Well said
This speaks of our collective psyche. Election of a person of color to the highest office didn't sit well with a lot of folks, no matter how vehemently we deny this. From his origins to his faith to his race to his loyalty, nothing was spared in detracting the nation from his agenda.
From billboards to placards there were shameful displays of racism and hate.
I too can't wait for this election to be over.

    Again@bobcat well said.
Two sentiments we have seen played to the maximum by political and social leaders with own agenda since 9/11 – hate and fear.
This nation has been turned paranoid and divisive. And that serves those that by design guided us to the path that we trod on now. The same sentiments have rendered us unable to see clearly where this path leads to.

I just hope and pray that voters decide wisely and remaining above these sentiments, if that is possible.

    @ saywhat

Good morning to you. I have been around for a lot of elections now and I know there have always been dirty campaigns. But I can't ever remember one that has ever divided the country as this one has. C'mon November, This one needs to be over.

      I agree.
Either way, it needs to be over.
      Two months away, thankfully.
      Tired of the hatred.

      Good morning banasy

This has been one heck of a day on this thread so far. Isn't there any kind of good news going on. Maybe, just maybe people could lighten up a little. Did I just say that ? What the hell was I thinking ?

There you go thinking again, Rawr.

Well actually I thought if I were to think of some different ways to convey my thought, that maybe people would think in a different thought pattern that would create different feelig towards the thought process than what they are thinking now. You think ? But there I go thinking again.

I don't know *what* to think; I'll think on it and let you know what I think.
      Think that'll be okay?
Let me know what you think.

Well I think that thought process would encourage a thinking person to expand on the thoughts that one might be thinking. Do you think the thinking behind this thought is properly thought out ?

Obama says they did a wonderful job with the levees. A job done so well that its only half complete. Areas in louisiana that have never flooded got ataste of Katrina because the federal goment did half of a job. Does " good job Brownie" ring a bell? On top of that Obama was to busy campaigning to arrive before Romney. Louisiana laughed him out of the state because our leader's chair is empty. Clint Eastwood isn't delusional, your president was absent.

Plaquemenes"s levees are not federal, Hannity. The FEDERAL levees were fine, Beck. Obama told the truth, Limbaugh. Eastwood's little chair is as empty as your head if you don't think we can see through you and the PeaTarty's garbage. Does the phrase "Fact Check" mean anything to you? NOW you're going to critisize who goes where to campaign first? Get real!

You don't put a 600 horsspower engine in a.car and call it a race car unless you put bigger brakes and steering, you must rebuild the entire car so yes the job is only half done. And no Chrissy, I didn't say that, Bush did bit since you want to pull the race card I wil borrow some.words from Ray Nagin and tell you Romney cares more about the chocolate city than your chocalate president does.
