Nationwide child porn investigation leads to couple's arrest in Oregon
A nationwide search for a suspected female child pornographer has ended with the arrest of a woman and her husband in Oregon, federal authorities said Wednesday.
Investigators launched a nationwide search for the woman, now identified as 40-year-old Michelle Lee Freeman, last month after finding online videos of her having sexual contact with two children.
At the time they did not know her identity or that of the children in the images, so the Homeland Security Investigations unit of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement launched a public plea for information and released a photo of the woman.
Tuesday, Freeman and her husband, Michael Serapis Freeman, 39, surrendered to police in their hometown of Salem after learning an acquaintance had identified Michelle Freeman as the woman in the photo.
They made their initial appearance in federal court Wednesday, charged with sexual exploitation of children, namely the production of child pornography.

Stuff like this makes me see red. It's bad enough that the guy did this to his own children but, then convinces his wife, their mother,to participate??? I say show them no mercy. None.
I am having trouble even coming up w words for this kind of thing that is way too rampant in our societies.
I can imagine what life might be like for these children as they grow up; but it's probably worse in reality bc their images were taped n distributed. My screen name refers to one of the results of what adulthood can be like for those who survive such abusive childhoods.
No, it doesn't have to have that component; but on the other hand, it could be worse – I'm still alive.
All the children who are harmed in this way, who have survived attempted soul murder, or whose lives have been cut short by soul murder: you are my brethren, my sisters n brothers.
You matter to me n I keep you in my heart. Would that there were not so many of you, of us, that one might wonder if I'll run out of space. Know this my kindred: I will always have room for you n your pain.
Parents n adults in general are supposed to protect children from monsters. How emotionally confusing, how abandoning, how utterly frightening when the ones to whom we would run, ARE the monsters?
For me, this begs the question of why law enforcement and our own government doesnt give the importance to all organized religion, Boy Scouts, and Adoption agencies who have assisted millions of kids being rayped. Why.
Huh? Mary what the heck are you trying to say? And why dont you just say it cuz you aint makin a lick of sense. And these 2 people should be drawn and quartered. And then hung out to dry!
Good two more people taken off the streets and will not be able to hurt any children. They need a perminent fix for these deviants. I hope the jail time is significant and some intense counciling. (If that even works?)
I dont think they got rayped for "goodness sake!" They were rayped for purely evil intentions and "goodness" had nothing to do with it! And dont flatter yourself Mary, i wasnt focusing on YOU, i was trying to understand your point!
There are not enough words in the English language to describe what I feel for this duo.
There are some people who should never become parents; this is a prime example of that.
These two found each other, had two girls, and them damaged them irreparably.

Please correct me if I'm wrong; I think Mary was making a point, connected to this article, though not directly about it, that law enforcement doesn't seem to be on their game in the prevention of raype n other types of child abuse that occur under the aus.p.i.ces of organised religion, scouts, adoption agencies, n other groups to whom many parents entrust w the care of their children.
FYI, research by child psychologists, pediatricians, as well as books about child s.e.x.u.a.l abuse, though limited to cases that are known, expose that the situations under which children are most likely to be abused, are when the child knows the adult(s) very well, n specifically, adults to whom they are related, ie family.
Another fact is that children are more likely to be rayped n abused by their teachers n administrators in secular schools than by clergy. That was a surprise to me at one point, though it shouldn't have been.
nothin is new under the sun...parent predators of the this sort happen more often than not...their children will need a lot of social, psychological, and spiritual restructuring...and abortion is just as atrocious...
