    Good morning@chrissy
My thoughts are with you for you as you grieve for your father. May he rest in peace -Amen . Loss of a parent , a fact of life which one can never truly reconcile with. Time would make you hurt less but the memories stay and the sense of loss remains.
Hope and pray that words from friends comfort you to some extent. And that the journey of life for you is one of happiness and joy as your father would want it for you.

Our misguided policies of the past decade plus are now coming back to bite us where it hurts the most. Unbeknownst to @ Bombo and many others its precisely our acting in proxy for Israel that has been a major factor in our failed foreign policy. Our stated position has been" Interests of Israel are the corner stone of our foreign policy" and our own interests remain subservient to that objective.

Middle East , Libya, Afghanistan, whole regions driven away turned hostile . Offered on a plate as it were, to other powers without those powers expanding a dime or losing a life. Trillions of dollars , thousands of American lives for failures. God what has gone wrong with our collective thought process.
Up to our necks in debt, printing money to feed the war machine and still looking for more. We are losing it in the geopolitical dynamics which are shifting.

No sense of history or statesmanship to guide us. The likes of Romney and Ryan waiting in the wings to take us to the brink and quickly. The general public unaware of where we stand today and where we are headed. "Bomb them" the only thought that seems strike our collective intelligence as an 'idea'.
    Sad.

  8. Not Obama's choice

The decision to fund modern day Israel was made long ago by YOU, America.
The only reason President Obama continues to fund Israel is because YOU think they are God's chosen people, the Jewish people.
Stop blaming President Obama for what America wants. America wants sodomy, for example. President Obama does not. Yet he allows it for YOU. (but NOT for those whom he has total control over, the military)

  9. Not Obama's choice

If America were to wake-up and pull her head out of her ass, she would see that todays Israel has zip squat in common with the Israel of old, the peoples whom made an agreement with God...promising to adopt his ways and laws. Todays Israel is a LAWBREAKER of both man and God's laws.
If the most of US who support Israel b/c we thing they are God's chosen people were to change our minds on this, President Obama would stop supporting Irael and continue arming Israel's sworn enemies as other presidents did.
Imagine a world free of just the greediest jew bankers!
