Lindsay Lohan charged with leaving accident scene
Lindsay Lohan was arrested early Wednesday morning in New York, accused of leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
A spokesman for the New York Police Department told CNN the actress was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and taken to New York’s 10th Precinct police station, where she was processed and released on her own recognizance. CNN has reached out to Lohan's rep for comment.
According to police, Lohan was entering the parking area of the Dream Hotel shortly after midnight in her 2010 Porsche Cayenne. Police said the hotel shares a driveway with a restaurant and that as Lohan was entering she allegedly hit a restaurant employee.
Police allege she continued into the driveway and parked her car, leaving the scene of the accident. Lohan was charged with leaving the scene. Police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the accident.

Ah, did it occur to anyone that she may not have realized she hit the dude? And did anyone stop to think, that if you could somehow step in front of a slow moving celebrity's car, it might just be worth a little cash? And since it happened on private property in the middle of the night, it's a civil matter ...he said...she said.....And since when do violent hit and run drivers park their cars at the crime scene and go to their hotel rooms?
I don't recall anyone saying it was a violent hit and run; and although she may have been unaware of it, that doen't lessen her culpability.
I would assume there would be a good reason for arresting her; damage to her car, hair/blood/skin on the car, if it were the employee hit.
Matching damage if it were another car she hit.
Since when does one park their car, leave a crime scene, and go into their hotel room?
One who thinks they are above the law, as this young lady has demonstrated repeatedly with her behavior.
She lives in Lindsay Lohan land, where normal rules don't apply.
Guess we'll find out, one way or another.

It was Greta Garbo who was supposed to have said "I vant to be alone." Maybe she really did. Tallulah was the daughter of a southern Senator and didn't say "vant." 🙂
She does like very horrible. I suspect the lifestyle has corroded her looks and she's trying to cover it up. She does look about 50. Maybe she wants to. The elderly Nicole Kidman look. But it works for Kidman.

This is Manhattan, why is she driving!?? No one who lives here drives. I can't understand why she wouldn't take a taxi or use car service or a limo like everyone else especially since all of her troubles involved driving!

She was wrong in not sticking around if someone brought to her attention that she nicked someone while parking her car. The victim suffered to injuries, this is not a violent hit and run, as charged it is a misdemeanor, big deal, next.
Geez, tman, what would your story be if she put YOU in Bellvue and tore up your knee, after telling you to get out of the way? Do you really think a monster like this should be allowed to mow down other New Yorkers? She is incapable of living without damaging other people or other people's property. She is the definition of criminal.
