Kennedy nephew Skakel denied parole

Michael Skakel, nephew of Robert F. Kennedy, was denied his first opportunity for parole Wednesday, a spokesman for the Connecticut Department of Correction said.

Skakel has served 10 years of a 20-years-to-life sentence for the 1975 beating death of his teenage neighbor, Martha Moxley, in Greenwich, Connecticut. He is the nephew of Robert F. Kennedy's widow, Ethel Kennedy.

EXCELLENT. About time that the Kennedy pukes start having to play by the same rules that us mere peons have to play by.

Check your federalism. The President can only pardon federal crimes, Skakel was convicted of a state crime.

I am a Kennedy, too, different branch; but all have the same great, great, great great grandparents, and live by all of law of all countries. One shouldn't clump people with like-name together as if they're all out of same mold.

This guy is not very bright. He might have gotten out by showing remorse and admitting to the crime, but he probably belongs in prison since he has proven himself as somebody who is really morally corrupt today.

Many of the Kennedys are the pride of the party. They have flaws like all of us, but they stand for giving back and not taking, taking, taking, like the low down dirty lying Romneys and Trumps.

Just another fine example of the democratic party. Kennedys sure do kill lots of girls, either that or they get shot in the head.

Interesting that they are reporting this guy as a Kennedy, when in fact he is not. He is related only by marriage, and even then it is a pretty weak relation.

Do the crime pay with your time. It will be a long while before he will get out.

  14. Are you insane?

What does Martha Moxley's death have to do with politics? Skakel is a Kennedy? The killer is a democrat? I can assure you that the Moxley's don't look at this in a political manner. They miss their daughter and sister. They have gotten some closure from Skakel's conviction. They don't have a vindictive bone in their bodies. They are amazing and gracious people who have suffered a tragic loss. They have spent their lives pursuing this case and being ultimately vindicated in their original belief that Skakel was involved. In the meantime they have given generously to all in their communities. But the Moxley's are intelligent and civilized. How someone could turn this into a political statement is beyond comprehension. I think you will find the prosecutor in the case- Benedict–is a democrat. So what? He put away a killer. That's his job. It's not about politics it's about basic justice. After that it is simply about humanity. God bless the Moxley family.

He used a nine iron to beat the poor little girl's brains out of her skull, IIRC. Maybe he needs to go to his room for a few more decades.
