Colin Powell is endorsing President Barack Obama in the election. Â He announced his decision Thursday on "CBS This Morning."

Remember Powell said Palin cannot be commander in Chief, reckon he was right. remember he endorsed Obama in the last race after listening to both campaigns, and he was right because America is much better off compared to when Obama took over. There is something called common sense folks. I should not support someone of no use to me just because he is in my group/organisation. Contrary to what some people might choose to believe, under Republicans the world was becoming an increasingly dangerous place for Americans, even Africans who are known to receive and accomodate everyone were becoming hostile. Although there is a possibility that the way Bush, Rumsfeldt, Cheney treated Powell is the reason. They used him like a puppet and dumped him. They forgot they were dealing with a fearless 4 star general. Rumsfeldt for one had absolute contempt, so rude. Americans who supported the trio should know exactly what happened in Iraq and other places.
Once again color trumps party.
And common sense
Remember in 2008 when Powell's endorsement of Obama was a big news story?
I am picturing "Floppy the Flopper" Trick or Treating and Trump Farting!
How is it a civilized country such as US could be so racist ? It's amazing ,is this the American way of life ?
We aren't. That is a phony issue you are blowing out there.
Here is the issue. Benghazi. Watch it happen

Self-Righteous Head Wiggle ....

Who cares what Powell thinks or who he supports – this RINO is an ancient has-been, and not worth the print describing his preference !!! In addition, he was a peace-time general !!!
Hiram, You need to learn more about this man before you judge him. He is a frater to most called Hiram.
I used to have great respect for Colin Powell. No more.
You never had any respect for the man if you "lost" all respect for him because of who he supports politically. He, at least, unlike most people, has a rational reasoning behind his support for the President.
I used to have "Great Respect" for Colin Powell. When Obama originally announced his candidacy, I thought, now why not Colin Powell? This is a man I could vote for. WOW!! Was I ever so wrong about him. His endorsement of Obama in the first campaign really threw me for a loop, but like the rest of those deceived in the first election–he had nothing to go on but smooth, liquid silver promises that flowed freely. Now, he's had 4 years of Obama's constant destruction, belittling and demeaning of this country–THAT COLIN POWELL SPENT DECADES OF HIS LIFE DEFENDING!!! This appears to me to be Colin Powell negating all those decades and saying it was all for nothing. THE GENERAL HAS SURRENDERED–HOW VERY DISAPPOINTING.
We are more hated and less respected in every other country of the world. Terrorists can kill our ambassadors with impunity, all the worst dictators endorse Obama, and Powell says Obama has good foreign policy? As for whether Powell is voting with his skin, when you have to make stuff up to explain your vote, the cause is clear. I think Powell is also invested in his vote of four years ago, which was clearly for the same reason. A sad coda to Powell's otherwise great life.
