Toyota needs to STOP production, world wide, and do a "gut check", and overhaul its entire system. Way to many problems to continue to be a premier auto maker! I DO AGREE in buying american, BUT, the term Made In America should mean just that! MANY parts of vehicles are made OUTSIDE of the USA, and I am talking major parts, like engines, transmissions, etc.. IF not made in the USA, 100%, then they should not be able to state it!
Why isnt there a comment thread on the videos??
Most times when something like this happens to any auto maker, they get a bunch of the workforce to work overtime (weekends etc) to first make sure they don't have the issue with the vehicles on hand. If the part or parts in question about the recall came from another supplier, then Toyota can charge said supplier for all of these costs. If the vehicles are already with customers, then they will have to bring them back to the dealership, which Toyota will then have to end up paying for most of that cost.
