Obama, Egypt's president discuss Gaza

President Barack Obama called Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy on Saturday to discuss the ongoing violence in Gaza.

Egypt's intelligence chief is spearheading talks with Hamas and Israel to forge a stop to the three days of warring that has engulfed Gaza and the Jewish state and head off an Israeli ground offensive into the besieged Palestinian territory.

Obama praised Egypt's efforts to de-escalate the situation, and said he hoped they worked. He also expressed regret for the loss of civilian lives.

Safely after the election, President Obama no longer needs Jewish campaign contributions or votes. Zionism begins her death dance, insh Allah. Thank you, Obama, for the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt. Thank you, Obama, for Ansar al Sharia in Libya.

Sayeef, the jewish campaign contributions were going to Romney, not Obama! Romney and Netanyahu were schoolmates and are friends. And Obamas shoulders are not big that they carry the weight of everything wrong in this world! Or perhaps you havent noticed?

kinner difficult to de-escalate anything while missiles are being lobbed at you...hamas are the ones or maybe a disturber of peace in gaza territory initiated this conflict who have no love for the Palestinians or Jews...and i don't see why it would be of interest muslim brother hoods of egypt to squash this conflict considering they have no love for israel

I was a little boy listening to news on the radio in Mississippi when my father explained to me that the chosen people were going back to the Promised Land, and that it was happening just as the Bible said it would. Those events, he said, proved that the Bible was true, and reinforced Christians' assurance of Salvation.
Years later, my understanding of America's support of Zionism after WWII changed considerably. I don't see that period the way many others do.
I hope that we keep oil flowing to the USA. My car uses a lot of gas.

Maybe Obamo can make a deal with the Muslim brotherhood so everything we work for and everything we own can go to them. Maybe then him and his wife will be proud of America.

Anybody who can get Hamas to stop firing rockets without further bloodshed will be doing the world a big favour. We'll see what happens next.

WE did. Not have that much fire power during IRAQ I.
Was a time when CNN would of made news out of it not ignored it.
I know, It is just a coincidence, history does that a lot lately.
