Only one Pres ever realy put svereigneconomy on not just balanced but into side, Jackson.
He did it by removal of Cherokees from lands and then selling it.
He sold mineral rights to RR and others and also rights to millions of timbered acres to real estate speculators and changed our federal accounting means as well.
If one looks today one finds many foreign corporate interest involved in mineral extraction from Austrailia to Canada.
WE export our oil and forest while still importing them from Canada and elsewhere.
The accounting means of Royalty payments with only one states, Alaska, peoples actually receiving any thing from extraction. puts billions a year into a black hole
