9:00 am ET - Zimmerman trial motions hearing - Attorneys in the case of George Zimmerman, accused of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, return to court to argue pre-trial motions.  Zimmerman is expected to attend the hearing.

10:30 am ET - Fiscal cliff and Medicaid briefing - Congressional Democrats and union leaders discuss the fiscal cliff crisis and how it could affect Medicaid during a Capitol Hill briefing.

1:00 pm ET - White House briefing - The fiscal cliff crisis and the situation in Egypt will likely dominate White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's briefing with reporters. Live is your home for breaking news as it happens.

    I know it’s off topic but I would like to thank the government and people of Costa Rica for recently banning hunting as a sport.

    I wish that would happen here in the US also.

      Agree @ Benn. Hunting to eat was understandable but as a sport -Nah. We can now gorge ourselves to obesity & those who can't afford to would hardly hunt.
      banning it here would take some doing, guns we love and they have to be used.
