"The man is bending over backward to get a deal"....Yep, his approach is do it MY WAY and I'll compromise. Boehner gave in on tax increases and Obama gives NOTHING on spending.

REALLY! Does ANYONE still read Time magazine? Does anyone still read ANY magazine? They have become obsolete, useless. So it's no wonder they would pick BHO as their Man of The Year. That's the same one who won the Nobel Peace Prize, just before starting two or three more wars? Uhhuh. So, give the man a quarter and move on.

You are thinking of the wrong President; G W Bush, who started those wars, was Time's POTY in 2000 and 2004.
This is BHO's second time being named; he was also Time's pick in 2008.

    AND THE CHOIR SHALL RESPOND:
"let our mouth be filled with Thy praise,
OBAMA that we may chant of Thy glory.
For thou has made us worthy to partake of Thy holy, devine, immortal and life giving Mysteries.
Establish Thou us in thy holiness that all day long we may meditate upon Thy Righteousness.
    "ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA!

It is wholly ridiculous to post something and have it show up 9 hours later.
Really doesn't make for coherent conversation.
    Clean up your act, CNN.

Listen I'm a big supporter of President Obama, but I don't agree with the pick for '12.

It should have been Malala Yousafzai for sure. Now that is true courage there and of a sort that desperately needs maximum recognition. How can you not recognize that?

Again, I happily voted for Obama twice but I very strongly disagree with Time's pick. It's a travesty that they didn't put her on the cover. I'm not remotely sure what they were thinking, an absolutely ridiculous choice.
