The Supreme Court has set dates in late March to hear oral arguments in two appeals related to same-sex marriage, CNN's Supreme Court producer Bill Mears reports.
The “Proposition 8” case over California’s ballot measure banning same-sex marriage will be argued Tuesday, March 26, at 10 a.m., for at least one hour.
The federal “Defense of Marriage Act” or DOMA case over denial of federal benefits to same-sex couples will be argued Wednesday, March 27, at 10 a.m., for at least one hour.
