Germany, Italy to aid French mission in Mali

Germany will contribute two transport planes to the French-led military offensive against Islamist rebels in Mali, the German Defense Ministry announced Wednesday.

Italy also is ready for "a logistical support operation" in the West African nation, Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi said, according to the state-run ANSA news agency.

    The help from Germany and Italy is a very good thing.
    I think that the USA should help France as much as we possibly can.

    France stands isolated in the invasion of Mali. Its a token aid from germany & italy.
    The party of war here has started pressuring Pr.Obama to get involved. Hope good sense and wisdom prevails and this nation is spared yet more follies and madness.
    Its an African problem and theirs to solve.
