Actor Burt Reynolds is in intensive care in a Florida hospital, where he went for treatment of flu symptoms, one of his representatives said Friday.
Reynolds was dehydrated when he went to the hospital, and was eventually transferred to its intensive care unit, his representative Erik Kritzer told CNN.
"He is doing better at this time," Kritzer said late Friday afternoon of the 76-year-old actor. "We expect, as soon as he gets more fluids, he will be back in a regular room."

dehydrated is a nice way to say you were losing it like water from both ends: diarrhea and vomiting...
Good luck Burt. These "golden years" ain't much fun..huh?
Ah yes old age comes to many a man, ills abound at that stage but it is memories of youth you live more in than being old.
And how many men can look back as Burt can and say; He once got beneath the frock of the "Flying Nun".
Falling out of the boat and sliding down those rapids on his tailbone didn't help much either.
For those who didn't recognize it, the above was a reference to Deliverance, the only good movie Burt Reynolds made in his 76 years.
Ned Beatty had it so much worse.
Florida hospitals : do your jobs and get the man some fluids. America can't lose burt reynolds too!
