President Barack Obama will name one of his closest and most trusted advisers as his chief of staff Friday, the fourth man to hold the job since Obama first took office in 2009.
Denis McDonough, who has served as Obama's deputy national security adviser since 2010, will be named to the job at a White House announcement event shortly after noon on Friday. For more on this story, read CNN's Political Ticker.
