Two tank barges loaded with light crude oil struck a bridge in the Mississippi River early Sunday morning.

The Coast Guard said it was trying to determine how many gallons may have been spilled into the river near Vicksburg, Mississippi.

The tank that was leaking contained 80,000 gallons of oil.

You should probably not take the government's money; I know how committed you are against that sort of behavior.

And exactly why not? It's going to cost millions to clean my family's land after Bp, there is oil six inches to the depth of 21 inches and just because you can't see it on top the government and Bp consider that a job well done. My family's land is going to have become a superfund site to clean the oil. The government won't even allow cameras on my familyz's property.

There is a statue of my great, great, great grandfather on either Tulane University's or LSU Medical's front lawn. His name was Edward Wisner and he owned millions of acres of land between Lafayette and Thibadeaux. he allowed two Universities to be built on his land. Bp ruoned a large pristine beachfront that is part of that land, and the federal state and local governments have been trying to cheat my family out of royalties on oil and minerals for the better part of 100 years. Now the federal and city government are both trying to claim ownership of land that one day I will inherit.

Libs are so stupid they wouldn't recognize socialism if it jumped up and bit them in the face, that fits Merriam Webster's definition of socialism exactly.

Nothing to say now Banasy? You know what your problem is? You think you know. You know nothing and wouldn't recognize socialism if it bit you in the face.

I haven't been on, Hamsta; I don't hang around waiting for your ridiculous posts with bated breath.
I realize that it's quite all right for you to rail against other people taking the gov't money, except when it's you; that's all right.
      It's the far-right way.

I also have no problem, Hamsta; I do not suffer from cognitive dissonance.
I suggest not trying to diagnose other people until you have conquered your tremoundous hysterical fear of socialism, because that is certainly not the US.
Turn off Fox. It'll free you.

    Hamsta:
Don't take that from the government; pursue it through the court system.
Take it all the way to the SCOTUS is you have to.
    Fight this injustice!

    I am being blocked again.
Take your case to court, Hamsta.
All the way to the highest court, if necessary.

My family has been in every court you can name, supreme court, civil court, criminal court even traffic court battling the government over rights to private property for more than 75 years, it's nothing new but it is the first time we have had to deal with a federal administration hell bent on redistibution of wealth. That is SOCIALISM to the exact definition.

Please present me with evidence that this administration is doing that.
A federal document number will do nicely, so I can look into it.
      Thanks in advance.

"The estate of Edward Wisner was donated to the city in 1914 as a 100-year charitable trust, giving the city a continuing income from mineral-rich marshlands."
    Is this your ggggGrandfather, Hamsta?
I take it your family has been trying to contest the will?

And the city and federal governments are in breach of contract making the deal null and void. Both governments owe my family millions in royalties, we still own the land, Ed wisner donated it's use to the city of New Orleans, that does not mean they own the land. It seems strange that private industry, Tulane University and LSU medical can follow the terms of the agreement to the slightest detail but the government thinks it can use a magic eraser on the contracts and deeds

  9. Hamsta & BS are synonomous

You are so full of it Hamsta. In the start with your posts, you came from such humble biginings. Now you talk like you're almost royalty. You make claims like getting hit with a 25 ft tidal surge right in the city of New Orleans. You complain about our "socialist president" and how he loves to give "your" money away, yet have no problem taking assistance when it benefits you. You are truly the poster boy of contradiction. I guess you just like to see yourself spout off.
