If you pay for a cruise on a foreign-registered vessel, don't complain when the toilets don't work or you suddenly come down with the Norovirus. Being rich does not confer intelligence, that much is clear.
What's this got to to do with being rich? A 4 day cruise, probably the only vacation for some for a year, can in some instances be under $400-500 and is not a major expenditure. Intelligence has nothing to do with trying to take a vacation. Also, almost all cruise lines are foreign-registered. That has not much to do with anything other than business decisions and administration. And...best of all, where is the US Coast Guard in all of this???? So, being a US registered vessel would bring better...what? Promptness of response??? Not Toilets dont work because they dont have any electrical power due to fire..not b/c they turned them off.
Not a major expenditure? You sound like a stupid rich person chiding the poor for not simply investing their money more wisely. Totally clueless.
It would be wise to evacuate all passengers on the life boats as they approach the shore to avoid disaster in case the ship gets in trouble and runs aground? Why put anybody in danger as the approach the channel and they face such a difficult maneuver !? I would rather have Carnival deal with an empty ship instead of peoples lives.
