Mississippi House Speaker Philip Gunn has invited gunmakers such as Colt to relocate to his state from Connecticut, where firearms have been a controversial issue since last December's elementary school shooting left 20 students and six adults dead there.
The gun industry in Connecticut is being attacked and "demonized" because of national politics, Gunn said in a letter this week to Colt's Manufacturing Company CEO Dennis Veilleux.
He also invited gunmaker Magpul Industries Corp. of Colorado to relocate to Mississippi.
Gunn, a Republican, said firearm manufacturers are "under attack in anti-Second Amendment states."FULL STORY
So he wants them to locate to a slave labor, low wage, worker hating state!
Colt started in CT and will stay in CT.
But so goes it when you have a president who is pushing national socialism. They say those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. So why don't you do us all a favor and pick up a history book and read about Nazis. While you're at it look up the fall of the Roman Empire. Socialism has never been a success and has failed EVERY time. And yes banasy there is such a thing as term limits, but the moochers and deadbeats are going to make sure all of Obama's changes are permanent while he " fundamentally destroys America ".
You are 100% correct.
@Hamsta,Ancient TEXAN,just remember who's the party of division, racism, its your republican party, the party of obstruction ,traitors to many to list!!Don't talk about socialism when you obviously don't know squat!!
Lol hes 100% alright! 100% Freakin nuts!! Im bettin he walks around talking to himself all day too! Just like talkin to people who arent even here.
Who are you talking to chrissy? The 4 walls perhaps.
There is going to be controversy no matter where the manufacturer is located. Mississippi isn’t exactly exempt from it.
Philip Gunn’s name is a fine name to lobby with, however.
Good Evening banasy.
Good evening, Art.
