Israel completed a successful test flight of its Arrow 3 interceptor system on Monday, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The system is designed to defend against medium-range missiles that could be fired from countries such as Iran.
"The successful test is a major milestone in the development of the Arrow 3 Weapon System and provides further confidence in future Israeli defense capabilities to defeat the developing ballistic missile threat," the statement said.

This is both good and not so good news. It's good in the sense that Israel will be better prepared to defend herself against all the rockets sent her way. Not so good in the sense Israel may feel so over-confident in it's ability to defend herself that it launches preemptive strikes. That is not a good scenario.
good morning@bobcat.
But aren't such actions by nations required to be condemned? We do that all the time.
And then billions of dollars worth of our tax payers money gone to them for Iron Dome missile defense shield, patriot missiles and other hardware perhaps is not enough.

As for those mostly home made unguided rockets from Gaza a total of 26 people were killed in Israel during all those years of these attacks from a people who have nothing else in the name of defense.
Billions of dollars of US aid, Iron Dome missile shield, Patriot missiles & other hardware doled out to them is perhaps not enough.
Iron Dome Missile shield, Patriot missiles, billions of dollars of military aid to them to no avail? Poor defense less nation-Israel.
Curses. Foiled again.
