Shark kills swimmer in New Zealand

A wimmer  in New Zealand died Wednesday after he was attacked by a great white shark on the country's west coast, authorities said.

The man was found dead in the water on Wednesday afternoon at Muriwai beach, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) west of Auckland, New Zealand police said. The shark was still biting the man's body when he was found, it added.

    @Little Mister

    Of course it is going to kill again. It is a shark. It is what sharks do. Will it kill another HUMAN again? Who knows. You don't want to risk being munched on by a shark? Stay out of their habitat. Don't blame them for acting like sharks.

    My heart goes out to the family and friends of this man who was attacked by the great white. He must have been doing what he loves. Life is uncertain and unfortunately this tragedy happened. The shark doesn't think like a human so we can't blame the shark. And it's not the surfers fault either. I'm just sorry this had to happen. RIP
