10:30 am ET - The funeral of Hugo Chavez - Heads of state and dignitaries from dozens of countries gather in Caracas for the state funeral of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  Nicolas Maduro will be sworn in as interim president at 6:30 pm ET.

12:30 pm ET - White House briefing - Spending cuts and government funding will likely dominate Principal Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest's briefing with reporters.

3:00 pm ET - 'Women of courage' honored - Secretary of State John Kerry honors nine women for putting their lives at risk in defense of women's rights with the International Women of Courage Award.

    This blonde walked into a clothes store and asked the cashier if he had a hanger or something to unlock her car because she locked her keys in the car.

    He nodded and handed her a hanger. She thanked him and went outside to set to work.

    A little while later the cashier decided to check on her and saw her working at it and another blonde inside the car was saying "a little to the left...no, a little to the right..."

    Hugo Chavez's funeral, if one follows the news around the world, should be an envy for any leader. The outpouring of grief by his people and presence of entire Latin American leadership speaks for this charismatic and controversial leader, detested though he was here.
