Iran confronts U.S. drone over Persian Gulf

Iranian military aircraft targeted a U.S. Predator drone over the Persian Gulf this week, administration officials said. It was the latest in Iranian efforts to thwart the U.S. military's airborne intelligence collections efforts in the region.

Three administration officials have separately confirmed details of the incident, although the Pentagon has not publicly acknowledged it.

Ok to those of you not ADA trained(Air Defence Artilliary,2/51ADA B Btry,1ST ID) You can confront a unmanned msl/drone picked up on your radar if your IFF(Identify Friend of Foe) does not identify craft as friend while flying in a restricted air space.

If I saw a drone I would probably jump up and down and wave at it. Those things are cool. Plus I might be on TV or something. It's good to wave and be friendly.

Now, why do people suppose that the surveillance drones are going to be armed?
Holder put to rest the Commander-In-Chief using them to kill our citizens here in the States, but I guess it is much more fun to feel paranoid.
