Source: U.S.-trained rebels return to Syria

The first Syrian rebels trained by U.S. military and intelligence officers in Jordan returned to Syria on Thursday, a senior rebel spokesman told CNN.

About 300 rebel fighters received specialized training in Jordan in the use of various weapons, including anti-tank, anti-aircraft and other types of advanced systems, the spokesman said.

Oh well yeah, this makes perfectly good sense to me. We take the rebels, give them "specialized" training, and then send them back to where al queada has already taken over the uprising and teach them these new tactics, so at a later date, they can use yhese newly learned skills against us. Yep, makes perfect sense to me.

While the US may have trained them in the use of weapons ...I don't think much "friggin' intelligence" was passed on to the rebels!
