U.N.: Drones kill innocent people

A group of farmers is on its way to tend to crops. Suddenly, a missile slams into its midst, thrusting shrapnel in all directions.

A CIA drone, flying so high that the farmers can't see it, has killed most of them. None of them were militants.

It's a common scenario, a United Nations human rights researcher said Friday in a statement on drone strikes in Pakistan's tribal region of North Waziristan.

    You are being naive.
    Human intelligence and spy agencies , ours and those of our allies overcrowding Pakistan always knew about Bin Laden's movements. It was the timing that mattered to take him out. It was done with collusion of Pakistan army.

    And @ saywhat that story of OBL not really being killed has been around for awhile actually. I have a cpl friends in the Marines that swear hes still alive and in our custody. And there is no actual proof either way.

      I'm no conspiracy whack job. I'm sure Bin laden is dead. Why? Several members of congress (including republicans) saw the pictures of him dead. Why would the prez risk looking like a fool by saying he's dead? You know there would be a republican speaking from the top of the mountain if he could show bin laden was alive! There's no way we could keep that secret!

    And yea i believe hes dead simply because Obama said it! As for Congress thats a whole different issue. I dont believe a damn thing they say, theyve only proved to me that theyre a bunch of useless, lazy, greedy brats!

    I wish there was more concern for the guns that kill innocent people in this country. I live 30 minutes from Newtown. If the death of innocent children and wonderful teachers cant move congress to grow a pair and pass reasonable gun control laws, then the voters need to grow a pair and vote them out.

    Agreed they need to be voted out. And the laws presently in place need to be enforced, thats the biggest issue. What i dont understand is when and how it ever became legal for a common citizen to own/purchase an assault rifle?? They should strictly only be for military and law enforcement use only! 3 teens were shot 4 blocks from my house last wknd with an AK47! Guaranteed it wasnt legally owned but how did it even get out on the street in the first damn place?

    Obama is neither a "peace" president or a "green" president nor any of the other propaganda points he keeps trying to tricki the American public with. Obama is a liar; a corporate shill and a warmonger, along with the monsters he surrounds himself with in government including Holden. I submit that Obama is a child killer, and that he was secretly happy about the children murdered in Newtown, despite his crocodile tears on that matter. 176 children and thousands of innocents cry from the grave due to Obama terror drones.
