I've said it a thousand times before. If you live west of the Mississippi, don't play the Powerball because you are just giving your money away! Research the Powerball history for a couple of years and you will see that MA, MD, NJ, NY, CT, GA and RI (East Coast) win nearly every jackpot. I've heard all the ridiculous claims before such as, "The population is denser on the East Coast so the odds of a winner are greater there". Well, you are playing a set pattern of numbers, not a set number of tickets as in a raffle. And no matter what your argument is, the fact remains the same that you rarely see a winner west of the Mississippi river. So continue to be foolish and keep playing the Powerball. You are just giving your hard earned money away to the Atlantic Seaboard. FACT!
you sir are a fool.
This thread is almost one year old but your contention that most winners are East of the Mississippi is correct. Just check your contention against the figures on Powerball's own site: http://www.powerball.us/info/jackpot-draws.php
Ummm no hes NOT a fool its true!
