North Korea to cut military hotline

North Korea said Wednesday it was cutting off an important military hotline with South Korea amid high tensions between the two sides.

"Under the situation where a war may break out any moment, there is no need to keep north-south military communications," the head of a North Korean delegation told the South by telephone on Wednesday, according to the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency.

Earlier this month, Pyongyang disconnected a humanitarian hotline that ran through the border village of Panmunjom, according to the South Korean Unification Ministry.

Aside from Iran, no country can shoot itself better in the foot than North Korea. There must be something in the water over there.

Lets just hope that, as usual, NK is just pounding its chest. The fact that IF they did attack anyone it could & would inflict carnage the end result would be the complete destruction of NK.

If NK , which has been pushed into a corner does act out its 'death wish' it would not just be the end of North but the peninsula. repercussions will then not be contained.

here are now talks of a preemptive nuclear strike against Iran and that the 'wise' think would be the end of Iran & beginning of world peace. The stupidity of humankind.

There was this Russian guy, this Spanish guy and this Korean guy all in the same ESL class. The teacher told them to make a sentence using the word 'hostess' for homework.

So the next day the Russian guy goes "Oh I have a good sentence. The hostess was very courteous." And the teacher said "Wow that was really good!"

The Spanish guy goes, "Oh I have a better sentence. My mother is a good hostess when others come over." Then the teacher said, "Wow that was really good!"

Finally the Korean guy goes, "I have the best sentence. When my mother answers the phone, she says hostess?"
