Before anyone starts to judge, there are a lot of unanswered questions about this situation.
Has the father been paying what he could
Was the Father employed
Very sloppy reporting @ Cnn... Very sloppy !
How much child support does he pay each month verses how much he makes and his own expenses
And as for BOTH parents ... If you can't afford a big family DON'T have so many kids ! Hence, birth control
OK Mary, I totally aree with you on this one. Plus, IF the story is accurate, and with the money he just won, why not just pay what he owes, maybe some extra, and be done with it?
Yep use birth control. And @ ronvan, he hasnt recieved his winnings yet and yea they should and usually do ded uct money owed to state and federal government. Iin this case i think they are going for the publicity by making an example out of him.
In the article posted about this man last week, a NJ official stated that anyone who wins over 600 dollars is automatically run through the system for any liens and child support, and what he owes is deducted from his winnings.
This is, of course, how they found out about him, and somebody leaked it to the press; for what possible purpose, I don't know.
If Satan himself won, he'd get every dime comming.
All right, CNN has found fit to block my post.
They run winners names to see if there are any liens. They will deduct the amount owed from his winnings. If the mothers take him back to court, they can receive more support, as his income will have gotten larger. It'll be paid.
Not every sordid detail of his past has to come out; it is wholly nunya. Gracious!
