Cop accused of leading drug robbery crew

A veteran New York police officer is accused of equipping a robbery crew with state-of-the art New York police equipment and helping them loot drug dealers out of a million dollars.

The officer, Jose Tejada, 45, is also accused of allowing the robbery crew to use his Manhattan apartment for their enterprise.

In court documents filed Wednesday, federal prosecutors said the crew posed as police officers and used fake warrants to arrest drug traffickers.

The crew then robbed those it arrested of their money and their stashes of marijuana, heroin, ecstasy and cocaine, authorities said.

Look at the stories today together: NYC cops are corrupt and equipping robbery crews with lethal weapons. Law enforcement in Colorado, Texas, and WV are slain. And the prezodint wants to abridge my second amendment rights to keep and bear firearms? That's nuts. The more ineffective our rotten bloated government becomes, the more they seek to oppress me. I won't have it!

Just because a few take advantage of their position of being a cop, doesn't make them all bad! In every organization there are a few bad seeds...Name one that doesn't?

With all the innocent unarmed people the NYC PD shoots.... they shouldn't have guns any more then the public. Add corruption to those who are just incompetent and they are all no good.

Thr real comment here is Portland Tony's: We, ALL of us, should know that, unfortunately, there is good and bad in every aspect of our lives. And while it tarnish's the organization involved it does not mean that ALL are of the same character! OUR police force's and others MUST be held to higher standards and when they screw up the punishment must be severe!
