There's no such thing as an off-duty cop. At least if it's Justin Roberts, there's not.
The police corporal from Pinole, California, was just capping off a family vacation in Hawaii. He was going through security at the Honolulu airport last Saturday, when he felt compelled to spring into action to stop a rowdy security breach.
He had just taken his shoes off to go through the body scanner, when he heard a "loud crash" off to his side, he told CNN affiliate KTVU.
"When I turned around, I saw a woman with her arms flailing, screaming at this TSA agent." He turned back around, thinking security officers would handle the ruckus.
They didn't at first.
FULL STORY
what??? he wants braggin' rights for tacklin' a woman...over a dispute that was basically adminstrative...oh pleeze...not commissioned in the area and shuddah mind his own bizzness...
I agree with @ Rascal Rabble.
In most disagreements I have witnessed at airports, the passenger was entirely right and the TSA agent was wrong, unnecessarily harassing passengers to exaggerate the personal importance of a TSA worker.
Seems to me this story was stopped mid stream. He turned around thinking TSA would handle it and....and what?
They want you to read the Full Story link. "She was homeless and wandering the airport."
...homeless persons are people, too!
Lol @ BOMBO, thanks i saw it on the news. Still they should complete their writing.
all I said was state the cop was just a local cali cop. Did not have fed police powers and cnn deleated that .
