A "major winter storm" was developing over the western Plains on Monday evening, promising "a plethora of interesting weather conditions," The National Weather Service's Weather Prediction Center said.
"Blizzard conditions are likely over parts of Wyoming, Colorado, western Nebraska and western Kansas" beginning late Monday and lasting through much of Tuesday, the weather service said.
The Denver metro area could see as much as a foot of snow, and the foothills and mountains can expect even more than that.
Plethora. What does that mean? Overabundance? By tomorrow the end of worlders will have this blown up to be the comming of the next ice age, a lot like superstorm Sandy was nothing more than another expected hurricane.
Well yea superstorm sandy would seem like nothing to you. If you lived in that part of the country and watched your house wash out to the ocean you would feel diferent i imagine, eh?
Lol sorry for that @ lm.
This is all hype! There will have to be more than a foot of snow to make it national news. With the warm temps we’ve had, there won’t be a thing to worry about the following day.
When news is your business, you have to find enough news to go to Starbucks or Brennan's.
My admirer continues.
How can a major "winter storm" occur in the spring?
Lol @ Portland tony, thats what makes it major. And they need to replace that groundhog. Hes gettin too old it looks like.

What the bleep is this?
I hope it never quits.
