Marriage equality bill OK'd in Uruguay

Uruguayan lawmakers have approved a same-sex marriage measure, leaving just one step - the president's expected signature - before such couples can wed in the South American country.

    Be carefull how you use the word "but". I try to avoid "but" anyways. Having "but" kinda stinks in you sentence structure. I had a good comment for this thread "but". Is it ever really appropriate to have "but"? I doubt it.
