N.C. A&T locked down after armed-person report

North Carolina A&T State University's campus in Greensboro was locked down Friday morning after school police received a report of a person with a weapon on campus, the school said on its website and its Twitter account.

No shots have been fired and no injuries have been reported, according to a school representative.

    Was he armed with a knife or a gun ? Hopefully it was a gun, because guns don't kill people.

      Har Har, good one @ bobcat, because you unwittingly ironically demonstrate that it is the criminal mens rea, the intent of the perpetrator that matters, not the instrument he chooses to effectuate that intent.

    200 years ago, the law went after the people that used guns to kill others. Then they got lazy, and started trying to impress people by citing the gun itself as the medium to eliminate. And 100 years from now when they get lazyER, they'll cite and go after the tv set, then it will be the family car, and who knows what else
