I think that President Obama should have attended the funeral of Mrs. Thatcher.
That the President did not send a high government official, or even Mrs. Obama, reflects shamefully of the United States of America.
I support President Obama on most issues. In this instance, he was wrong and petty.

Youre right @ saywhat, thats extremely disturbing. Im really beginning to rethink my backing of Obama! Is this how he is going to put our country back to work? And if Israel thinks they are the supreme country let them get their own damn money!

I am strongly opposed to any and all financial aid being sent to any other country while seniors in our country are being made to pay more for medicare while their social security is being cut. That is their money, they earned it, its not welfare! And it is our money (taxpayers) that is being sent everywhere else. That should be decided by the citizens not the politicians!

@Bubba,blame me too for not voting for that selfserving elitist Romney who cares only about his wealthy country club crowd and put people on notice that he cared less about the 98% that actually are this country..And you Bubba if you don't like it I'll instead of chrissy tell you the way it is bud and you can move your trailer to any state you want if yah don't like it bud because with you unemployement, welfare is just a state away isn't it!!You probibly know more Bubba about your guns than your kids ,am I hitting close to home if you really have one if I may ask!!Chrissy is right about not wanting to financially strap our countries seniors while helping other countries with foriegn aid and Bubba whether you like it or not SocialSecurity, Medicare aren't entitlements because its withdrawn out of your weekly checks for all your employed life..Bubba also look up who first stole from the SocialSecurity coffers and its your hero bud in Ronnie Reagan and Allan Greenspan in the 80s that stole from SocialSecurity to balance his federal budget at yours and mines expense and Bubba did yah get an IOU from ole Ronnie ,I sure as heck didn't!!

@Bubba,I ain't back peddlin from you so give me something intelligent if your empty brain has any!!I voted for this africanamerican president our first one mine you in Pres.Obama and if racist like McConnell or that drunk Boehner had any cajones they'd be working with him instead of obstructing everything that benefits Americans, but republicans have always did a good job at screwing things up beneficial for America haven't they..Go back to Hoover and the Great Depression to Bushs two unfunded wars created with lies and tell me Bubba if there's a chance that any republican out there has ever done anything beneficial for America and maybe you'll shock some of us with some intelligence from you for a change!!

I tend to agree with@s kel on US acting sensibly on Thatcher funeral. Seeing the reaction worldwide and in Britain itself on her passing, assessment of her legacy by British writers & analysts.
