Boston bombing suspect unable to talk

Perhaps the only man in the world who can explain why the Boston Marathon bombings took place is sedated with a tube down his throat, unable to speak.

Suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev was in serious but stable condition at a Boston hospital and cannot talk, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick told reporters.

"I, and I think all of the law enforcement professionals, are hoping for a host of reasons that the suspect survives, because we have a million questions, and those questions need to be answered," the governor said Saturday.

As Tsarnaev remains under heavy guard at the hospital, a flurry of new details have emerged in the case.

Boston bombing suspect unable to talk? What. Was he shot in the throat? Most likely a case of convenient amnesia.
CNN: A simply oustanding job of coverage on the Boston Marathon Bombiing. But hey. What happened to the coverage about the widespread devestation in West, TX, with the massive explosion of the fertilizer plant there. Just sayin'. These are human beings too!

    Yes, he can.

He is sedated in serious condition.I'm sure the officials would do everything possible to glean info from him. That is vital.

Tragic loss of life and devastation. How can folks or media sort of 'by pass' that?

The only major failure of government, is that the President, Dept. Of Homeland Security, ATF, FBI, Boston Police, MIT Police, were tripping all over each other to find out "who done it", when the real help came from John Q. Taxpayer. So at the cost of human life and injury due to the blast itself, human life, property damage, and shutting down Boston for a day at the tune of $333 Million dollars, might have been all avoided by putting up security checkpoints, blocks ahead of the public event, to inspect parcels and even purses and "backpacks".
"But I guess these little "terrorist cells" are one step ahead of our United States Governmrnt.

And I'm sure theses measures will be implemented next year. And I'm sure there will be many, many people who whine about the cost of *that* to taxpayers. And then there will be those who whine about their personal freedoms taken away from them by the bad gov't because the gov't wants to inspect them in the first place. It's truly a no-win situation.

The guy was shot, wounded and bleeding...and he ran away on foot???into the neighborhood saturated with every asset the govt had. How many armed and trained police were there?? Don't they make dogs for such things as following a blood trail???

Good thing a regular citizen showed them where to find him...

@Frank,did any of your sanctumonious presidents like Bush,Reagan or others really bring anyone of any substance to trial except Hussein.Bushs conspiracy theories but nothing of where it truely started, who bank rolled it financially, just empty theories,no WMDs found either.Reagan and over 300 dead in embassy ,barricks bombing by terrorists also in Kuwait,Lebanon .Quess what SoS Schultz didn't have anything but theories himself as well so don't go after this president when its your past presidents that were supposed to lay the ground work in security to stop such a thing from happening again and wow we had 9/11 after Pres.Clintons guys gave intel to Bushs guys who dropped the ball as well but Bush wasn't crucified like Pres.Obama either because as usual the hypocrites in republicans are running the game aren't they here..If yah don't believe me ask Darrell Issa who if you don't know helped pave the way for defense cuts and security at embassies were part of these cuts, just read up you'll see!!And has anybody had a tube down his throat or a trach cut into their throat because if anyone here has like myself and others its almost impossible to move your throat let alone talk!!

As i have said before the 'war on terror' is going nowhere unless and until the world community finds the moral courage to attack the root causes. Or it would just remain as futile as it has become.

This makes no sense. He can't talk so we can't get his story? Why don't you just have him write out his answers?
Come on media folks do you think we're that naive? Really? Ridiculous...!

I saw video of a guy in a jogging suit who the police had laying on the ground spread eagle. Who was that guy? What happened to him? I saw the police had him surrounded and then they all began to back away? Why?
Who was that guy and why don't we hear anything more about him. Was he run over by his brother just after that video was ended? Seems very strange. Just wondering?

Representatives who criticise security before Boston bombing are correct. After the terrorism was the FBI's work superb, but what about their earlier leniency with these Jihad-mad young men?
Ms. Napolitano, it is again time for your immortal line, "the system worked."
