Car bomb strikes French embassy in Tripoli

A car bomb exploded just outside the French embassy in Tripoli early Tuesday morning, injuring two French security guards and a local girl, officials said.

The blast was so powerful it blew the front wall off the embassy. Windows of nearby buildings in this upscale, largely residential neighborhood were also blown out.

Deputy Prime Minister Awad Barasi said a 13-year-old girl in a nearby house was injured in the attack and will be taken to Tunisia for treatment.

A criminal investigation is under way to try to determine who was behind the attack, and why.

Is France going to investigate this incident and will its reps in government much like here crucify their heads of state like hypocrites here do..Hypocrites in republicans that for years had the same problems with terrorists bombings, deaths in embassies, marine barricks but because of their inherient arrogence overshadowing their ignorence they never act to impliment any real security changes ..Darrell Issa a republican who sits on many committes considered by some as myself nothing more than political witchhunts spending millions of taxpayer dollars but yielding nothing as far as plausible results in the Fast,Furious or Benghazi bombings..And this same Darrell Issa was the head of a committee to trim defense spending and did around 400 billion and in cutting defense also included were cutbacks in embassy security worldwide when its known it should have been increased because of attacks elsewhere internationally..So posters especially you ignorent uninformed republican ones quit pointing fingers at Pres.Obama,Hillary or now John Kerry because of arrogent presidents like Reagan,Bush and the like that failed to improve or remove embassies and their security procedures at our peoples expense overseas resulting in many needless deaths. Its they who created this hatred toward America and you know it as well imposing our ideologies on countries that don't want our countrys intervension and America in the past was told of that as well!!

@s kel, afternoon bud..Read up on Joseph Goebbels ,Hitlers top propaganda man before his march against Jews..Goebbels believed if you fed people only lies all the time people will eventually accept them as truths, psychological warfare of sorts..Republicans did the same in the last election with propaganda from Romneys campaign ,remember jeep going to China as one.The only problem there republicans fell for it before democrates, independents, not good for Romney was it!!

Why didn't Obama do more to secure this embassy. He knows damn well this is a hostile area and yet the lack of security remains. What ? This is about France ? Oh, well then carry on.
