Syria: Obama and Assad share 'red line'

Chemical weapons are a "red line" for Syria, too, a top government official said Thursday.

Syrian Information Minister Omran al Zoubi said in an exclusive interview with CNN that a hard-line Islamist rebel group has used chemical weapons during the civil war and his government "would never use" such munitions "if we had them."

"President Obama says chemical weapons are a red line," al Zoubi said. "Then he is in direct accordance with President (Bashar al-) Assad who also thinks that chemical weapons are a red line."

Sources said that shortly after the attack began around 9:40 p.m., special forces put out the calls for assets to be moved into position.

"What that does is that enacts ... every asset, every element to respond and it becomes a global priority," one source said. "I would tell you that was given and the only reason it was given is because of special operations pack."
However, the source said, "Assets did not move." NPR's Carrie Johnson reports that "Congress is gearing up for a new round of hearings on the deadly attack in next week." [Copyright 2013 NPR]. And still, CNN has not a single word to say in any of its NEWS or Blogs. CNN, the World is watching and learning about you and your Deliberate Suppression of this and other news not fitting your agenda. CNN has been reduced to no more than a Propaganda machine. Benghazi WILL NOT GO AWAY untill all questions have been answered.

Obama and his left wing cronies are to blame for any and all chemical warfare. G. W. had this under full compliance, but now everything is in chaos. Thank you Mr. President. Job well done.
Not to worry. A republican president will set us free.

When do you think Assad acquired chemical weapons? He's had them for decades. This is a sectarian war: Rebel Sunnis against a Shia government. Assad has shown remarkable restraint in defending the non sectarian aspects of Syrian society. There are no "rules" in real wars...especially in sectarian conflicts. Get some facts........Jeez!

Russia was allied with Assad. The Israelis are not allied with the rebel Sunnis.....and don't want to see a bunch of Jihadists running around with bad gas!

You know. Don't act like you don't know, chrissy. It is common knowledge that the Obama administration has allowed North Korea and Iran to do this supplying of chemicals and poisen gas. They turn the other way.
