Senate passes Internet sales tax bill

The Senate passed legislation Monday that would allow the 45 states (and the District of Columbia) that charge sales tax to require online retailers to collect taxes on purchases made by their residents.

The bill will now move to the House.

So how would the passage of the "Marketplace Fairness Act" affect your online shopping? A lot depends on where you live.

From California to New York, here's a look at what you can expect:

I remember when internet was free, now the communists want to nickel and dime you with fees and taxes in the name of fairness.

The last of my pocket change last Sunday went into the collection for Vietnam Veterans, at church, following weekly tithe and the weekly childens collection basket. Now somebody wants to pick me clean, because of thier compulsive spending habits that bankrupt our nation. They no doubt have been planning this since the 90's.

My dad's lesson on communism and fairness. One Christmas as young siblings, my brothers where fighting over who got what and what was fair. My second oldest brother went so far as to call my dad a communist. My dad responded by taking my youngest brother's firetruck, my second oldest brother's radio and my oldest brother's radio apart. He gave my oldest brother speakers to use as tires and a fire truck seat and stearing wheel for his bike. He gave my second oldest brother bicycle wheels for speakers and a fire truck ladder for an antennae. So my little brother asks him how can you climb an antennae. Dad replied tjat life isn't fair and that the reason communism doesn't work is that you destroy everything trying to make it fair.

My dad wasn't a jerk, we all thank him for that lesson today. Every parent should teach their child the same thing. As a result none of my family get have illegitimate kids and none of my family gets any form of government assistance. All three of my brothers are happily married with children. I am the lone bachelor with no children and probably will remain that way because I am surrounded by chickenheads with three or four baby daddies who are on food stamps and full of drama.

I have two older brothers and a younger brother chrissy. I am the black sheep, the only one that didn't graduate high school and college. I got my GED and graduated trade school as a master auto mechanic.

I am the black sheep because I rebelled due to the way I was treated. I was the only one that never caused any trouble, but I was the scapegoat for the trouble my brothers got into. My two older brothers blamed me for all the trouble they got into because my younger brother was to young and innocent. By the time my younger brother got into high school I was his scapegoat also, but I didn't mind so much taking my little brother's charge because he was cool.
