U.N.: Syria rebels may have used sarin
A U.N. official says there are strong suspicions that Syrian rebel forces have used the deadly nerve agent sarin gas in the country's civil war.
Carla Del Ponte told an Italian-Swiss TV station that the findings come after interviews with doctors and Syrian victims now in neighboring countries.
Del Ponte, the commissioner of the U.N. Independent International Commission of Inquiry for Syria, said the notion isn't surprising, given the infiltration of foreign fighters into the Syrian opposition.
But rebel Free Syrian Army spokesman Louay Almokdad said rebels don't even have unconventional weapons, nor do they want any.

The heroic rebels have only used rakes and shovels as weapons. We must help them.
Morning JIF. Assad is overjoyed to see the opposition being driven into submission. Assad thinks he can "please all the people all the time".
May have used sarin gas. May not have used sarin gas. We should be the libertarians and stop al-Bashar Assad, but we need more proof "the gas" is being used, before we go in and do something thay "may" trigger WWIII. All the U.S. cares about is the $ ROI, if we go in and "alter Assad' s way of life", let 'em duke it out.
It's unfortunate when you have individuals in this country, thinking they are "living the dream", just to be disillusioned to find out it's by using everyone else's money, in a country that IS for the most part bankrupt. They don't even work, earn, and pay thier own bills and taxes without being someone else's money. Are they really in the right frame of mind anywaysto make decisions supposedly "in your better interest" ?
Hey check the label and if it says made in America its good stuff..Probibly some stolen from Kadafi,Husseins past regimes by blackmarketeers that were sold to those dictators by Reagan in the 80s..Just like Reagan selling arms against congress to Iran and serin gas to these two maniacal dictators everything has a cost and its been our presidents mainly republican who are guilty of it in their dirty pasts.Reagan also letting democrate,republicans like Charlie Wilson to sell arms to the afghan rebels that eventually is being used now on our troops and ammo supplied by China,Russia as well..If we put tighter restrictions on arm sales and heavier penalties even to politicians you might just see a drop in these countries starting senseless wars..Let China,Russia finance them and send them their kids as well so we can be spectators just for once and can spend our money on better things in America like its supposed to and save innocent lives as well!

How Afgahn then called freedom fighters were abandoned & their country after they kicked out Soviets for us, how Saddam was befriended handled during Iraq-Iran war & then declared an enemy when he thought of allowing Soviets to have oil concessions too, Hosni,Ghaddafi & so on. All that has a bearing on the mess we are facing today.

The rebels used sarin gas ? The rebels, whose ranks consist of al qeada and every other terrorist organizations, used sarin ? Aw, come on folks, we just know that can't be true.
propping up a dictator like Mubarak for decades, Ghaddafi was a friend too when buying arms and selling oil so on & so forth. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya , Syria, folly upon folly & still no lessons to be learned.
The other powers watching us dig pit after pit for ourselves fighting proxy wars while they smirk on the side lines , benefiting without spending a dime or expanding lives.
