Crews working through the rubble at the Bangladesh building collapse site found a woman trapped in the wreckage and plucked her to safety Friday.
"I'm alive. Please rescue me," she said.
After she was pulled out of the debris, she was rushed to a hospital, an army official said.
The discovery comes more than two weeks after a building in a Bangladesh complex with factories full of garment workers caved in: South Asia's deadliest industrial disaster.
For the 17th day, rescue and recovery workers search through the nine-story building's tangled wreckage in Savar, a suburb of the capital, Dhaka.
FULL STORY
Either it is a hoax or she had water. Her picture shows no dirt upon her. She looks like she just got out of a limo, snuck around back, and reappeared on the gurney. But maybe she had water and was in a place with no dirt despite the tons of dirt and dust from the collapsed building. Amazing lack of dirt or dust on this woman. Just amazing.
@Blaarg ,why is it when someone miraculously survives someone like you rains on their parade..A hoax for a pic in CNN today, just want will you ignorents think up next..Maybe she was obducted by aliens and wasn't there at all, just ask Boehner after he comes down from one of his binges...
It was a horrible tragedy and its indeed a miracle that they are still finding survivors. I hope more are found.
Loss of human life or if one is saved is a matter which would strike a humane chord in someone who cares.
I bet she feels like a building fell on her. Okay that was bad.
Nonsense.
Banasy, I wouldn't speak about what you know nothing about if I were you.
Excuse me, Mary?
You haven't a clue as to what I know; I'll repeat: nonsense.
With "rubbish" thrown in.
No wonder the workers in Bangladesh are so productive.....you only have to give them a day off every 2 and a half weeks!
Seriously, it would be a great mistake for US clothing importers to penalize a very hard working and productive society by moving their clothing manufacturing plants out of the country.. Don't penalize the workers for the crimes of the unscrupulous factory owners!
It's a hoax, she was planted in the rubble.
Who on earth would perpetuate such a hoax, and to what end?
@banasy,good morning..This picture was taken here after she was taken out ,got medical attention and cleaned up..So to all out there who thinks it a hoax just say to yourselves I'm a republican and I definitly don't know any better!!Again banasy you can comment anytime ,anywhere here this is America!!
Time will tell whether this is a hoax, she is already on the publicity trail. As to why this would be done? It wouldn't be the first time someone has taken advantage of a situation to get their face in the spotlight. Are you sure she was cleaned up Pete? Why go to all the trouble to do that? No sure what picture or video you were watching but the one I saw was a crowd mass around a woman being pulled out of a pile of rubble. So where did they clean her up and get some fresh clothing on her?
