Abortion doctor guilty of murder

A jury Monday found a Philadelphia abortion provider guilty of three counts of first-degree murder.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell, 72, was accused of killing babies by using scissors to cut their spinal cords. Authorities alleged that some of the infants were born alive and viable during the sixth, seventh and eighth months of pregnancy.

Monday's first-degree murder conviction means Gosnell, who is not a board-certified obstetrician or gynecologist, could be sentenced to death.

Gosnell also was accused in the death of Karnamaya Mongar, 41, who died of an anesthetic overdose during a second-trimester abortion at his West Philadelphia clinic. In that case, the jury found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Gosnell was also found guilty of 21 counts of abortion of the unborn, 24 weeks or older.

In Pennsylvania, abortions past 24 weeks are illegal unless the health of the mother is at stake.

The Obama administration has made sure everyone pays their share of taxes. In time, this reduces our national deficeit. However, Bush did the opposite. He only made the working class pay income taxes and he outspent the inflow of funds coming in, while bailing out greedy corporate america with the working class tax revenue. This is welfare for the rich. This cost trillions. And this was a great republican president?

The Obama administration is on the right path. There should be a bill introduced to allow presidents to run a third term. We all know President Obama would most likely win. Republican candidates such as Romney cannot fool the American public, and therefore would lose again.

Suffice to say that its pointless to respond to comments from those having no clue as to the events leading up to the 're-birth' of Libya and incidents like Benghazi. No clue as to those responsible in Congress, the entire mind set in fact who pushed for ouster of Ghaddafi and US led NATO intervention.

US was forced to act in proxy in Libya because of this mind set and I'm afraid we are getting pushed into the same mode in Syria also.

Anybody with an ounce of sense knows that Benzaghi would never have happened if we were not there in the first place. We were there because the previous right wing president put us there. Another example of republicans leaving a mess for democrates to clean up.

Right wing republican war mongers need to realize that in the other wars, we had allies and the war was already in progress. But in the Bush war, we invaded a nation based on lies and a personal anomosity by george.
